Terms of Service
These terms are between you and Ayman Omar, an individual living in Egypt, who operates Sharaketna (شراكتنا, formerly called Joint Accounts). Contact: hello@sharaketna.com
If these terms are shown in more than one language, the Arabic text prevails for users in Egypt.
1. Eligibility
You must be 18 or older. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in private.
2. What the service is
Sharaketna is a record-keeping tool for people who share a ledger. It is not accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter. You must review AI suggestions before you save them. You are responsible for your own tax and bookkeeping duties.
3. Shared accounts
People you add to an account can see what is entered there, within their role. A Manager administers the account. An Owner holds a share. A Worker can enter records as the role allows.
If you delete your account while other signed-in members still use a ledger, the transactions stay and your name on them becomes "Former member". Notes and photos already in that ledger stay. If you are the only signed-in member, that account is deleted. If you are the only Manager and other signed-in members remain, you must make someone else a Manager before you can delete your account.
4. Subscriptions
Plans, trials, and prices are shown in the app before you pay. Renewal and cancellation happen through Apple or Google. Deleting your Sharaketna profile does not cancel a store subscription. Refunds follow the store's rules.
5. AI credits
AI entry is optional and uses credits and fair-use limits shown in the app. Nothing from an AI suggestion is saved until you review it and confirm it.
6. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, attempt to break its security, or upload content you have no right to share. We may suspend an account that abuses the service or puts other people's data at risk.
7. Liability
The service is provided as available. There is no warranty of uninterrupted uptime. To the extent Egyptian law allows, Ayman Omar is not liable for lost profits, tax assessments, or decisions you make from the records. Nothing in these terms limits liability that Egyptian law does not allow to be limited.
8. Law and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of Egypt. The courts of Cairo have jurisdiction.
9. Changes
When these terms change in a material way, the version number changes and the app will ask you to accept the new version before you continue.
